December 7–13 gives travelers a clear mix of ticketed holiday music and free St. Petersburg park programming, without needing to guess which calendar listings are final. This early-planning guide uses only current official organizer and city pages. Start with one confirmed event, then recheck the organizer for current tickets, event status, weather, parking, accessibility, age guidance, bag rules, and schedule updates before you leave.
The main decision is simple: choose a Clearwater or St. Pete performance night, or build a lighter family plan around the City of St. Petersburg’s Saturday park programming. Some organizers list a precise start time and others do not, so the details below preserve those differences rather than filling gaps with assumptions.
Map-ready places for December 7–13
Vienna Light Orchestra — Christmas Tour 2026 is Thursday, December 10 at 7 PM and Friday, December 11 at 3 PM at The Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Outlander in Concert is Friday, December 11, with 6:30 PM doors and a 7:30 PM start, at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33759. Kenny G: The Miracles Holiday and Hits Tour is Saturday, December 12, with 6:30 PM doors and a 7:30 PM start, at the same Clearwater venue. Holiday Pops is Saturday, December 12 at 7:30 PM at the Mahaffey. Holiday Movies in the Park — Nightmare Before Christmas is Saturday, December 12 at Vinoy Park, 701 Bayshore Dr. NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. The City does not publish a time. Meet Santa in the Park is Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, 6–9 PM, at North Straub Park, 400 Bayshore Drive NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701.
The Vienna Light Orchestra — Christmas Tour 2026 gives St. Petersburg two confirmed choices: Thursday night at 7 PM or Friday afternoon at 3 PM. Both are at the Mahaffey Theater, and the official venue listing says tickets are available through Ticketmaster with limited seating. Choose one performance rather than treating the two dates as a single event, then confirm the ticket and arrival details directly with the venue.
Friday in Clearwater: Outlander in Concert
Outlander in Concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall is a defined Friday night plan with 6:30 PM doors and a 7:30 PM performance. The venue lists tickets on sale and says all members of a party need a ticket to enter, with screening at entry and no re-entry. That makes it a good one-location evening anchor; confirm the current ticket, accessibility, and parking details with Ruth Eckerd Hall before committing a group.
Saturday evening: compare Kenny G and Holiday Pops
Saturday night has two ticketed options in different cities. Kenny G: The Miracles Holiday and Hits Tour starts at 7:30 PM at Ruth Eckerd Hall after 6:30 PM doors. Holiday Pops starts at 7:30 PM at the Mahaffey Theater, where The Florida Orchestra publishes a youth-ticket offer for ages 5–18 with restrictions. They are alternatives, not a plan to stack on the same evening. Check the official event page for seat availability and current entry terms before choosing.
Saturday and Sunday: a free St. Pete park plan
The City of St. Petersburg lists Holiday Movies in the Park — Nightmare Before Christmas at Vinoy Park on Saturday, December 12 as a free outdoor screening with festive activities, Santa photo opportunities, concessions, and a bring-your-own-blanket-or-lawn-chair note. The City has not published a time, so verify it before going. Meet Santa in the Park runs 6–9 PM Saturday and Sunday at North Straub Park. It is a meet-and-greet, so bring a camera and check the city’s latest conditions before arrival.
Build the rest of the week around one confirmed plan
Avoid turning a holiday itinerary into a cross-bay rush. A Clearwater concert can pair with a relaxed dinner nearby. A Mahaffey performance can be a St. Petersburg evening anchor. A free Vinoy Park movie or North Straub Santa visit works best as a simple outdoor plan with extra weather flexibility. Outside organizers control admission, tickets, food, parking, access, and event rules.
